Shannon Mustipher's unique tiki cocktail features rye whiskey, banana, and a lot of bitters

Glass

Highball Glass (have fun like we did and tie a banana leaf around the glass to make it extra tropical)

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Rye Whiskey

  • 1/2 oz Banana Liqueur

  • 1/4 oz Cinnamon Syrup

  • 1 oz Pineapple Juice

  • 3/4 oz Lemon Juice

  • 6 dashes Peychaud's bitters

  • 4 dashes Angostura bitters

Technique

Add all the ingredients with crushed ice to a Boston shaker. Whip shake for 5 seconds and then open pour into the glass. Top with additional crushed ice and garnish.
