Hibiscus Rum Punch Royale

Combine all of the ingredients below before serving and chill for two hours:

-18 oz blended aged rum (e.g. Appleton Signature)

-12 oz Sorel hibiscus liqueur

-4 oz Demerara Syrup

-6 oz Lime Juice

Twenty minutes before serving, add chilled ingredients to punch bowl filled with ice. Top with a 750ml bottle of sparkling wine and stir gently to combine. Garnish bowl with preserved hibiscus flowers resting on lime wheels. Ladle into cups to serve.

Syrup Recipes

  • Demerara Syrup: In a saucepan over medium heat, combine 1 cup Demerara sugar and 1/2 cup water. Warm until the sugar dissolves and then funnel into a clean bottle. [Recommended: India Tree Demerara Sugar]

Silk Sheets

Add the following ingredients to a shaker tin with ice:

-2 oz Citron Vodka

-¾ oz Elderflower Liqueur

-¾ oz Lychee Syrup (from canned lychees)

-½ oz Lemon Juice

-½ oz Lime Juice

-2 drops Rhubarb Bitters


Shake 10-15 seconds. Double strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a lychee and edible orchid.

  • Citron Vodka: Grey Goose, Absolut, Ketel One

  • Elderflower Liqueur: St. Germain, St. Elder, Giffard

  • Rhubarb Bitters: Fee Brothers

Water Lily

Add the following ingredients to a shaker tin with ice:

-¾ oz Gin (use Empress for brilliant purple hue)

-¾ oz Triple Sec

-¾ oz Creme de Violette

-¾ oz Lemon Juice

Shake 10-15 seconds. Double strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with an orange twist.

  • Triple Sec: Luxardo, Cointreau, Combier

  • Creme de Violette: Giffard, Rothman & Winter, Tempus Fugit, PostModern Spirits Subrosa Liqueur, Bitter Truth, Golden Moon

Rose Martini

Add the following ingredients to a mixing glass with ice:

-1 ½ oz Gin

-½ oz Dry Vermouth

-1 oz Rose Liqueur

Stir 30-45 seconds. Strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a lemon twist and some dried rose petals.
