American Whiskey Punch

In a three-quart bowl, add the peels of 2 lemons with 8 oz granulated sugar. Let sit for a few hours so the sugar can extract the citrus oils.

Add 12 oz cask strength bourbon/rye or 16 oz bonded whiskey or 18 oz 80-proof whiskey and stir. Add a quart-sized block of ice or enough cubes to fill the bowl past halfway.

[Optional: Sprinkle freshly grated nutmeg over individual servings]

Recommended Ingredients
